Read-only here — the contract window is held on the project record and does not move with programme changes or EOTs. Change it in Project Settings.

No contract window set. A budget can still be entered, but the spread, the forecast and the variance suppression window have no duration to work with until the contract start and finish are recorded in Project Settings.

No project identity to record a budget against. Every budget line is stamped with who entered it, and Huntly has no login to take that from, so it uses the nominated Timekeeper Approver. Set one in Project Settings to enable saving.

Labour Budget

Budget labour hours per operator for the whole contract window. Labour hours and plant SMU hours are different quantities and are never added together.

No operators on this project yet. Enrol one first and it will appear here.

Plant Budget

Budget SMU hours per machine for the whole contract window. Under-run matters here as much as over-run — idle plant on wet hire is lost utilisation.

No machines on the plant register yet. Add one and it will appear here.

Hours only. Huntly holds no rate, no dollar figure and no currency amount anywhere — the accounting system applies every rate. A saved budget line is never edited in place and never deleted: changing one records a new revision and keeps its predecessor readable, so what was budgeted at the time stays part of the commercial record.
